Dalefield School is a small rural primary school in the settlement of Dalefield in the district of Carterton, New Zealand. Nestled at the foothills of the Tararuas, we find ourselves in a unique and special environment, our children flourish in the small family environment of the school and are encouraged to be part of the wider community.

Historically, the school has catered for the rural community of Dalefield, but in recent times, more parents are choosing smaller schools for their children's education, and are favouring the individual and safe nature of education in a small rural school. Children travel from Masterton, Greytown and Carterton to benefit from the education and lifestyle that Dalefield School has to offer.
